About Remnants of Nova

“Remnants of Nova tells the story of Dani and Nova on one chaotic day where career smashing potential and a near-death experience collide. Dani Cadieux is a rising queer artist, with a social media following that scores her an opening act slot. Nova, her partner and the band’s guitarist, struggles with depression, and the pressure of the night leaves them at wits end. Will their love for each other be enough?”

I worked with the Director/Screenwriter and Producer throughout this project to come up with a brand identity for this short film. They needed a logo, social media templates, deck designs, and a website design in order to promote the film. 

The director describes the film with these words: Hope & Strength, Tension, Pop-Rock, Queer Love. Supernovas, space, and pop-rock concerts are big motifs in the film as well as “deep blues, Dani’s red hair, Nova’s bleached blonde hair, bright whites – lights on stage and the stars”.
