About: Octane is a Fintech company whose mission is to connect people with their passions. With a focus on the powersports market, Octane reaches riders through editorial brands such as Cycle World and UTV Driver, and helps consumers buy their favorite vehicles with instant, frictionless financing. 

Octane Brand

I was hired as the first designer in 2019 to manage all marketing creative for Octane. Since then, the team and brand have leveled up many times to get to where it is now. 

The brand is all about balancing the technology, financing, and enthusiasts that make up what Octane does. Hierarchy, straightforward visualizations of complex processes, and excitement are what make up the core of the visual identity.

Social Media

We use Linkedin the most because our primary audience is powersports dealers. We mostly use it to announce updates, share about awards, and highlight the company’s employees. My primary focus in social is to exaggerate the hierarchy so if someone glances briefly at the graphic they take away the right info.
